Cultural and Outreach Programs
Exploring, promoting, and applying African mythology through immersive workshops, community storytelling, and cultural education initiatives that restore memory, spark creativity, and connect diasporic experiences

Ancestral Wisdom
Reconnecting communities with rich cultural heritage through myth, memory, and guided workshops. We bring elders, artists, and cultural thinkers together to share what was once whispered — now made vivid again.

Public Events
From school residencies to open-air festivals, our events platform storytelling as power. We host live readings, youth panels, intergenerational myth circles, and outreach in partnership with diasporic institutions.

The Codex
Explore African mythology through immersive storytelling, visuals, and community dialogue. The Codex is our living foundation — where myths are reanimated, truths are coded, and new civic memory is built. Each Codex volume becomes a civic artefact.
The Codex is created through foundational texts, tales and research.
The Correctives
The Correctives confront myths, silences, and stereotypes that shape Black life. From ‘the absent father’ to the myth of orality as deficiency, we expose distortions and restore nuance. The Atlas of Return, MythOS, the corrective codices, civic panels, and myth-refractions emerge from this layer.
The Correctives confront misattributions, thefts, obscurations, erasure and wrong information about Black history and capability, as well as the enacted harms.
The Connectives
The Connectives are where we trace the unbroken thread — linking Nigeria to Brazil, Haiti to the UK, Cape Verde to Carolina. These mytho-cultural bridges anchor our diaspora, inspire collaboration, and illuminate how scattered stories sync.
The Connectives trace ancestral pathways and mirrored traditions that bind African and diasporic cultures together, revealing the spiritual, linguistic, and cultural patterns that link Africa with its scattered descendants.
Flagship Programmes
Explore African mythology through immersive storytelling, visuals, and community dialogue. The Codex is our living foundation — where myths are reanimated, truths are coded, and new civic memory is built. Each Codex volume becomes a civic artefact.
Afrodeities Programmes and our mission are powered by systems thinking, where each core component — the Codex, the Correctives, and the Connectives — operates as a living, interdependent part of a regenerative cycle. Together, they hold and refine the deepest lessons of Africa’s mythological and civic memory — including how Black societies once flourished without extraction — and what those frameworks could teach the world about justice, design, and future-making.
One day, these entwined systems will power MythOS: the Ekolu-Tethys engine — a living AI of ancestral memory, civic repair, and cultural continuity.
This is our system architecture:
The Codex is not just a programme. It’s the core.
Everything else all feeds back into it
The Correctives cleanse the lens — unmasking theft, distortion, and silence.
The Connectives extend the vision, tracing how scattered Black histories still speak across continents and generations, and how the fragments connect them all. From Sankofa to Candomblé, Griot to Gospel, we uncover how myth travels — and how it returns us to each other.
Both feed the Codex, which becomes sharper, truer, and more whole with each contribution — and, in turn, becomes an offering: an input to our MythOS, the system for cultural memory, civic repair, and ancestral foresight. And together they power our living system for ancestral intelligence.
The Correctives cleanse. The Connectives Extend. The Codex codifies and remembers.
